Alphakinetic

Trying for that ~1k word goal and immediately hoping for a "make something as overcomplicated and needlessly verbose as possible" jam next time

At the risk of cheating the wordcount by sneaking stuff into the description:  Alphakinetic (better name pending) is a boiled-down version of a room-clearing tactical game, where missions are short and sweet and the party is strong and competent until they're not

Polyhedral attacks (that are also defences for minor enemies) and a pool of d6s for skills

Are you a cyborg? Are you a terrifying telekinetic powerhouse? Are you a lady with a gun who can't stop one-shotting people and distressing the GM? And either way you might simultaneously be the team's doctor because skills are divorced from combat stats and now I wonder if that was wise or not
